Alignment shift after light/mild tracking?

So my friends rented a track yesterday and granted I have new PS4S on I didn’t want to destroy them so I went somewhat aggressive but nothing overly hard (new to the track as well) and I feel like my alignment shifted? This car has been a battle lately with it tracking straight on cruise and then upon application of the gas it yanks left. Also on the way to the track my wheel was slightly left of centre when going straight and after the day it’s not slightly right if Centre tracking straight... could this be because when I had the car re aligned they re used the bolts? The spec sheet is in the car at home I’ll post it when I’m there.

I still haven't changed the TTY bolts. My alignment shop said it requires a lot of effort to remove and reinstall due to spring tension or something (not sure if this is true). And only dealer here in LA that doesn't suck too bad to trust with anything has a long waiting time for appointments and charges too much.

Hmmm I’m not sure what has mine change so much then... and then the whole car going left on acceleration to figure out as well, never did it with my 3Rs only these PS4S

Here’s the Alignment from when the tires were installed about 3000km ago.

typical...not unusual for the alignment not to hold even with new bolts after a track event. As it has been stated here, "our cars do not hold an alignment worth a shit"

IMHO, the alignment shift comes from insufficient torque on the bolts.
Replacing the rear tty bolts is a pain in the ass...
I think the jury is still out on whether that is really necessary... check your alignment after the track event to see if anything changed , or maybe something else is going on.

My personal experience is the Ps4s is not nearly as stable as the 3R on track, but the steering wheel never changed... if camber moved, that would change your toe, and could change wheel position.

Insist on proper bolt torque, and good luck.

Bill

I just got those also. I have to get my car aligned every 2000 - 2500 miles or so. Same with wheel balance. I still expect to have to do frequent alignments, even with the toe rods.

The toe rods will creak and groan as you drive slowly over curb cuts and such, that twist the chassis. BMR also recommended getting rubber boots from Summit Racing that cover the heim joints, to help keep grease in them.
