See, I don't like the top vent. Looks like a piece of plastic bought at Walmart that has been placed there using double sided tape.

Personal opinion.

If I had the money to buy those, I'd go with the non vented fenders.

Good luck!

I assume there is a weight penalty with Fiberglass compared to the Carbon Fiber...

Hopefully they'll post the weights of each option against the stock fenders.

Another option I think would be neat for those who want to keep a subtle OEM look while releasing pressure from them fender would be keep the 1.5" space out from the door instead of bringing it back to the door. So instead of just having the "1.5" Extra width at the center of the wheel opening", it would stay 1.5" out all the way to the front door. See pics for reference.

Either the non vented, but wide enough to be noticeably wider, or the vent with the option to block off.

Is there any intention to offer these for the ZL1 as well?

Ah, there you go. That’s getting closer to a nice design on concept 3. I would find a way to make the vent on the side flow a bit better with the body lines and also, include a way to have it screened off or at least more finished than the current example shows.

The vent up top just needs something that gives it a bit more of an OEM look. For instance, the stock SS hood vents have their ends rounded out and even have those flow lines in them, for lack of a better way to describe it. If you could find a way to get those to more closely match the stock hood vents, it may give more of an impression of an OEM offering.

I'm a big fan of Concept 3 (red)!

*Edit, I like concepts 2 & 3. Concept 1 looks similar to the ZL1, at which point I'd just buy ZL1 fenders.
