ARH Headers with AWE Axleback?

Getting ready to add headers and an exhaust on my SS 1LE. Don't really care for the factory GM suitcase NPP. It's rattled since day one of purchase, dealers done some nonsense epoxy fix and in the process scratched up my tips. I hardly if ever use the touring mode on the exhaust so out it goes.

Thinking of going with the American Racing Headers long system for around ~2K.

https://americanracingheaders.com/co...up-long-system

They offer one with a full system with quad tips for around $3300, but afraid of drone and overall quality of the resonators and tips.

I love AWE and initially was going to purchase their full catback. Still am considering going this route, and use either ARH or Kooks headers. What I was thinking however is going with the above mentioned ARH header long system with the AWE Touring Axleback: https://www.phastekperformance.com/A...ing-abqohr.htm

Price wise will be the same regardless - around $3k for everything.

What are your thoughts on options:

1) Full ARH system with mufflers/tips.

2) ARH long system with AWE Touring Axle back.

3) Kooks Headers with AWE Touring Catback.

4) ARH headers with AWE Touring Catback.

Thanks!

The sound on the AWE touring is incredible along with the 4.5" tips. I had fitment issues on install and AWE was fairly useless when contacted about it so I don't recommend it if you think you'll ever need use of the warranty. They actually told me if I had it welded up to the midpipe that it could void the warranty as having been modified...lol

I absolutely love my AWE Touring system. Perfect fit, zero drone, zero issues, and the best tips in the game. I'm planning on adding Kooks 2" headers with Green cats this winter.

I have the ARH catless long system going into the NPP muffle. I was considering the AWE system but they never tested it on a full length catless header and would not guarantee that it wouldnt drone so I never pulled the trigger.

There isn't any drone with the Touring mufflers, they have drone canceling technology in them. This is mine with no cats on a cold start.

And this is driving, this as after a cam and converter install.

I also have a SS 1LE and had the same thoughts and concerns as you.

I ended up ordering the ARH 1 - 7/8 long system no cats and the AWE touring axle back. The headers showed up today and the axle back is still about a week out. Ill be excited to post some pics and results soon.
