Latest 75W-90 gear lube

I want to do the 500/1500 mile diff lube changes on my 1SS 1LE

I'm seeing two common Dexron numbers

#1 88862624 75W- 90
#2 88862624 75W-90 GL5

Both have been posted here, some treads are years old. I thought I'd ask for the latest instead of piling onto old threads.

Then which Camaro trims take #2 - 88862624 GL5?

My owners manual states "see your dealer" for gear lube part number. Being a holiday weekend and they are not open for 2 more days, I've wasted about 3 hours researching this to get nowhere.

pretty sure GL5 is synthetic formula. can’t see why you couldn’t use either one, unless there’s some sort of compatibility issue using the synthetic with non-synthetic when doing a dump and fill

Only 3 hrs? I had my car for 2 months now and I'm still looking for better answers
The thing that pisses me off is GM cant even pull an answer out of their ass to print the correct fluid in our newer manuals. "See dealer".....yeah OK, so some idiot can give the wrong part number out of the half dozen that's out there

Here on the forum you will be told to use NOTHING but this https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...N9MTFHYL&psc=1

But I'm thinking of grabbing the Valvoline 75w90 bags to avoid the pumping/mess. I'll use the AC Delco LS additive with it. That's if I choose to go that way.

EDIT: After more research, I'm sticking with the OE fluid in the link I posted

Same part number, they just added the GL-5 identification.
