New pads for the zl1 1le

Just got my new pads for the camaro from gt350brakes .com and had him setup a code for the forum members. Anything you need use code camaro6. These are ferodo ds1.11

4% discount with the code, $821.75 for front and rear pads plus shipping! You can buy 3 to 4 sets of stock pads for that shopping around.

Will be interested in your lap time improvement and which track it was at. Wonder how they will wear compared to the stock Ferodo HP1000 pads.

The rear pad sizing seems to be quite confusing. The Ferodo ZL1 rear size is FCP1348 which Ferodo says is compatible with Pagid 1408. However Pagid says the ZL1 rear size is 8208. Pagid 8208 and 1408 are quite different in height and pad depth. Pagid 1408 is the Brembo Lotus caliper pad size, which I had been told is the same as the Camaro rear. One has to be wrong.......

I ran these before on my old car and were much better than the oem compound, these pads don’t pad and have a higher mue level

How did they compare with the ZL1 1LE stock pads (which are quite good IMHO)?

And the big question, do you think they are worth the price?

Thank you.

These bite longer without fad, I have tested these on back to back track days at Laguna Seca and they still look new. Not sure how much stock pads are but If these last twice as long I can’t see using stock pads when they have to be replaced

Replaced my stock pads for $220. Got 5 days out of the stock fronts.

I like running the stock pad too because I can drive with it on the street. But coming from a car with a full motorsports brake system. These are a compromise. But I do drive accordingly.
