memory seats

Hi
I have been watching the Forum for a short time and have really got some great info from the group. My 1LE is to be built on the 24th of April and I need to see if you can help me with a question I have. Has anyone checked to see if the memory feature be added to our cars?

TY Jim

Been checked into, cant be added as it requires access to the BCM in order for it to work as the BCM stores the positions of the seats and mirrors.

If that feature is something you have to have then you may want to look into a 2SS model.

OK How about installing the memory module and re flashing the BCM to wake up the feature?

Memory seats are a great option. Heated and cooled are too.

There in lies the problem, who are you going to get to flash the BCM? The dealer cant do it as GM only allows the BCM to be flashed with the calibration on file for your VIN. The ECM/TCM/BCM are all VIN tied to the VIN of the vehicle now, so no way to substitute another vehicles VIN in order to flash in extra features.

As said it is a done deal via the OEM route.

How about the easy in easy out feature, is it a part out the memory?
