2019 SS

Just wanted to say Hi, I've been reading for a while now and have learned a lot about my new car just from poking around.

This is my first new muscle car. I snagged a 2019 2SS with MRC, dual mode exhaust, and the new A10. I would have preferred the manual, but to get it OK'd by the wife it needed to be an auto. Now I see 2021 will get the 1le package with an auto... might need to replace it sooner rather then later!

I have to say I am very impressed by this car, it just plain screams. So far it doesn't have me with the urge to mod it... yet. I also wanted to add that I'm 6'4" and still managed to squeeze 2 kids seats in the back. It's a tight fit, but it only when necessary. But it does fit.

In the past I have had an '02 Mustang GT with a Kenne Bell super charger, then moved onto diesel trucks. I had an 06' Chevy in the 11.9 1/4 mile range. This car is neck and neck with the truck as to the fun factor.

I look forward to learning everything I can.

Nice looking ride. I thought the same thing when i first bought mine. Who the heck thinks they need to mod this beast? Then you get used to the speed and it doesn't feel as fast as when you first got it. Then it begins.....

Congratulations and nice looking SS and I like those optional wheels too. If I was looking to upgrade to a 2021 SS 1LE I wouldn’t do any mods. That’s just my opinion though because it’s your car you know. Have fun and enjoy the drive!

Congratulations! I'm also 6'4" tall---I would highly recommend performing the seat recline modification.

Nice car and I too like the bumper. I think one of the reasons the 2019 is so much fun to drive is the exhaust sound. It really kicks the sound my 2015 Vette had with basically the same motor and variable exhaust.

Very nice and welcome to the forum. I like the color/wheels combination. And you got the 10 speed auto, not the 8 speed- good move there. (Manual would be the only other way to go). And good move on the dual mode exhaust. Transmission and exhaust selection are the two most important options (other than creature comforts) in my opinion.

I see so many mod their cars. i certainly would not if I had an SS, 1LE or ZL1. So much power. I have way more than enough with "just" my V6 and get into triple digits pretty quick. I can't imagine how stupid fast the SS's are bone stock.
