This is why you always buy 2 of everything.

2014 2LT RS Red Rock metallic with Dual Mode. Bought it in Sept. No mods, except changed air filter to a KN filter and removed fuse for dual mode exhaust so its always open. 2014 is great think stripes are stupid, not worth money. Only mod I am considering is KN CAI. Maybe color shift Halos for head lights and fogs. Oh did swap out interior light with a red LED bulb.

I do agree ...but I must say I do have a problem on this iPad....sometimes my wording gets changed so much even I don't know what the hell I wrote.

A little over two months and so far only got rally yellow splash guards (very necessary!) and yellow caliper covers. Warranty-friendly stuff.

I guess I'm "old school", seeing how I canceled my cable tv ~15 years ago and I've never owned a cell phone.

But getting back to your "boring thread because of no modding" comment ...

I used to feel the same way as you do. Back 25 years ago I bought new Stangs and modded them within weeks of getting them home. But recently I've been into this "don't touch anything" mentality. You see, back in the day I used to get warranty work done nary a second glance from the dealer at my mods. Now, it seems you can't even get a tune without worrying about what might happen. I do not want to see this stamped on my warranty:
Haha ......I'm not sure of your age but thanks for calling me a kid at 44. Back in the day of no internet or interac I could get a fake certification for 50$ and buy the car for 400 or 500$. And when I want to be tech savvy I just call my 15 yr old daughter to take care of business

Mine will remain externally stock as long as I own, simply because I think it's an all-time classic design and almost all cosmetic mods I see detract from that. Some of the heavily cosmetically modded cars I see just make me sad.

I have pulled the NPP fuse and added the GM embroidered console lid. The GM short throw shifter and GM 3:91's are a possibility for the future. That will be as far as I go.

I have only owned mine for two weeks, but it's still stock. I just don't have the money right now, unfortunately. Saved for quite a while to get the car, and now I gotta start saving up again for the fun stuff. I might do a few things here and there that don't cost too much money…(stripes, etc)

Stock except for different brand tires (stock are crap for daily driving and wear out too quick). Hell even my Lightning from 2004 is still stock, well, except for a open air filter that came with my 2003 that I swapped over only because the supercharger sounds louder with it and aftermarket tires (again, stock being crap for daily driving).

My modding actually stopped with dirtbikes and never made it to cars. I don't really care enough for it and I have other hobbies that cost a boatload of money and I'm not rich... :p Plus you never get your money back for the mods and I'd rather save the money for a newer vehicle. Gen 6 here I come....!

Base models should be modded, upper models should be stock, cosmetically speaking..JMHO. That's why I never buy the upper models
