Want to get another Camaro...
Hi all,
Idk if anyone remembers me, I had a 2014 V6 Spring edition Camaro, that I got back in 2013... but then traded it in for a 2018 WRX. Then last year I jumped into a Kia k5 because I didn't want to pay premium gas prices.. then ended up getting bored didn't like it as much as I thought and jumped into a Stinger. From there I had so many issues that I somehow ended up with a Forte GT.. As fun as the car is to drive, I am not as happy as I was in a Camaro. For the Camaro, will a 4 cylinder be fun? or should I just jump into a v6? or say **** it and jump into a V8 and then get all weather tires on it? Also, Ive been playing around with the build on the site and cannot decide on a colour.. helpppp. I'm between White, Black, Wild cherry, Rapid Blue or Orange.. but then again I have no idea what will be available for 2023. Can I get some opinions? I know I'm gonna lose a lot of money on the Forte, which is gonna suck, but oh well.

No specific opinion, but you can cross Wild Cherry off your list of colors, as it’s being discontinued for 2023, and I believe this week was the last week to order it on a 2022

Well, if you don't want to pay for premium gas, then V6 is the way to go for ya.

A good friend of mine has a 2017 1LE 2ss with the PDR option, he will be selling soon, I know he has about 100k miles on it or so. Would be a great deal, if interested I can send you his number.

If i'm not mistaken, Rev matching only comes in the 6M V8's correct?
I think i've narrowed everything down! Now just deciding between v6 or v8.

Yes, active rev match is only on V8 models.

It's impossible to know what is truly important to you, but if not having to run premium gas is a priority, you have only one engine choice. All that said, the LGX is a great engine with a higher redline and plenty of power, it isn't some anemic 1-liter four-banger turbocharged to the moon for 150 hp, so if I were you, I'd test drive that and a V8, then make a decision.

it would depend on how much power you can use and how much extra money you have to pay for it.i find the V6 to be fine, but my best street racing days are gone and i like running 87 now that gas prices have screamed upwards.add that to the cost of the V8 and i wasnt interested in it.

To me it seems pretty cut and dry. If you can afford the V8 and the associated costs of ownership, then that would be the way to go. Otherwise the V6 and T4 would be it.
