You can't go wrong with Adams brand. Keep in mind this is a MEDIUM so you will need to polish after using this clay. Notice that the details say:

REMOVES CONTAMINATION WITH MINIMAL DAMAGE!

So there will be some marring that will require polishing to remove.

I tried the Adams Clay Bar Mitt and it worked great, though I must say that clay bars are still better.

Here's the link.....You are correct the Clay mitt is for lighter work, if your paint is real dirty you may need to clay.
