Just smogged my tuned 2011 SS. Passed with no issues. Located in the San Fransisco bay area.

I recently bought a vacation home in an area that doesn't do bi-annual smog checks. Probably going to register my Camaro at that address and then really start to have fun with the modifications.

What engine do you have in your car? Did you have AFM? Sorry not familiar with Camaro specifics.

EDIT: Looked it up you do have the AFM. So did you tune to turn off the DOD?

Resurrecting this thread as I just smogged for the first time today. (7-8-23) All I had was a CAI and a 'east coast' tune. Oh, and a catch can of course that allegedly had to be removed. I put on the stock air box, Re flashed to the stock tune and drove it about 75 miles.

Not only did it easily pass, the shop owner told me that some tunes, as well as cams, still can pass. I think he was mostly referring to 'Super Chip' kind of tunes. So, good to go for two more years.

But few things illustrate how much big bro is all up in your business quite like the CA smog process.

Did my smog ck 3weeks ago. I just reloaded my stock tune with hp tuners and drove for a week. The EV monitor didn’t reset but I had no pending fault codes and it passed smog ck.

Same. My evap does not like to go ready until after a VERY long time, no the drive cycle stuff isn't enough. It eventually does go ready after months later so it's all working.
Good thing it will still pass with reflashed to stock software and 1 not ready yet item.
