2019 ZL-1 signs of rust inside lower door ...
Found this today while I was wiping water inside the lower doors lip post washing...
I think this is unacceptable. 18 000km and never seen driven in the rain... I suspect a bad seal at the seam. The driver side is flawless... What do you guys thinks? Am I the only one with this???

Could it be a reaction with the paint, ie the metal could have had machine oil on surface before paint was applied? Did you probe one of the blisters to see if it is actual rust underneath? It’s not like you drive it on salt covered winter roads.

When the CAF moved me from Cold Lake, AB to Qc, the mover that handled my zl1 did not see that I had rock guard installed and they hit the ground when he moved my car.
Those rock guard are so close to the ground that just a slight platform drop of 2-3 inches was enough for them to hit bottom and the force transfered to the inner fender lip where it dented and cracked the paint. Long story short I already bought on replacement inner fender and I am planning to have the paint crack professionally repaired and I will let the paint shop know about the inner door paint issue. They will be able to see what is it....

I think it's inconsequential IMHO, I'd leave it be.
