Stock ZL-1 1/4 Mile Time

Camaro guys- no flames please for this newbie to the Camaro Forum. I know this has been discussed countless times here but what is a realistic quarter mile ET and Speed for a stock ZL-1 with only drag radials? There are wildly different claims on the net.

It ranges tremendously depending on DA, track conditions, fuel quality, how heat soaked the engine is etc. Best case scenario would be very low 11s at upper 120s. Typical is 11.4-11.8 ish at 123-124 mph. Could be as low as 11.9-12 at 119-120 if the car is heat soaked and the DA sucks.

Florida here, car always feels fast and can drive it year round, but the roads around here suck. You guys with the awesome backroads and canyons are lucky.

Florida roads suck? Sweeping Off ramps and on ramps are awesome!
And interstate 95 is quite smooth, and many east /west county rds
Are quite scenic. Depends on what part of Florida ya talking about
Big difference between east west south& north.

I'm in FL too. Not only do the roads suck, but people cannot drive for sh!t. Lucky I have a truck as a DD and rarely take out the ZL1. I do not do crazy stupid stuff in it just afraid of the people the state of Florida will give a license to.

That’s where most of the shitty FL drivers came from.

FL drivers are terrible, I'm in GA and I see them all the time on the highway. Always a FL tag.

I was talking about the roads. But yes, the drivers over here are absolutely dreadful and make me want to stay as far away from the roads as possible.

My 2022 ZL1 went 11.25@125 with stock tires. DA was 1500 at 70F in Orlando

60' was 1.79. Drag radials should get that down .2 which would net 10.9x

I didn't use launch control, just foot braked it. Only cleaned the tires off for 2-3 seconds
