WTB: 1LE Alcantara Steering Wheel (Manual Style)

If anyone has an extra alcantara steering wheel for a manual (no paddles) and with the grey stitching, I'd be willing to buy.

Mine formed a hole in the top and my dealership is saying it is a wear item and cannot be covered under warranty. I would rather take a spare off one of ya'll instead of buying brand new.

I’m all for saving a penny where ya can but I think they are only ~$3xx brand new. Not as much as I thought they would be.

Like ninetres said, the prices aren't too bad and if no one did happen to have one, I'm going to buy one. I just figured I'd ask.

I bought the steering wheel in that link. It has the rev match paddles. You just can't see it in the pictures.

Also, I had my Alcantara Steering Wheel replaced in my 2014 1LE under warranty for excessive wear by a dealer free of charge at 25k. A lot of other people also did on the 5th gen.

You think it'd be worth driving up to a different dealership and seeing if they'd replace it? I mean, I'm only at 8k miles.

I'd try going to a different dealer for a replacement. It sounds like your issue could be a manufacturer defect although mine was replaced for excessive wear and tear.

I ended up swapping to leather on my 5th gen because i daily drove the car 30k/year and would have worn out the alcantara in 6 months.
