I just got mine today. Honestly, the suede with black stitching goes really, really well with the seats. They look factory, definitely don't look at all like a mismatch. I think it adds a lot to the interior, personally. But, it's obviously a matter of preference. Happy to post an HD picture soon if it'd help you decide.

Nope, even Ferrari uses Alcantara. As I said, you don't want real suede in a car...good synthetic is far better.

SK - checkout my profile albums for the suede knee pads. 3 pics in HD there, you can see how well they match with the seats. I have the leather dash with grey stitching and honestly to my eyes - its good Feng Shui... They're not cheap even at $279 but, it really adds a ton of character to the interior, IMO. Hope this helps.
I should add, I am going to get the suede dash for the 1LE, as I believe it came out this year (for the 2SS trim level). Last edited by Ironhide; 09-16-2017 at 09:32 PM. |

Looks like someone just made a mistake with the configurator.
It's been updated to remove the additional suede trim from the OP. Still showing the back seats with suede inserts though. Stupid tease. |

Anybody know for sure yet if the 2SS 1LE will have a suede dash insert? Seems to be some conflicting information. If so, I wonder if it will have black stitching like the knee pads, or light gray like the steering wheel...

I am wondering the same thing, actually.

I gave up on this. Just ordered the kneepads. Down the road I might get the ZL1 door panels and go over the stitching with a black dye pen. For you guys that wanted the dash insert, maybe get the ZL1 one and use the dye pen, or get the carbon insert.

The ZL1 insert will be my last resort. Would rather not have to dye the red black if I don’t have to.
