Having had both the good year and Michelins, no way the dry traction is better on the Michelins. I still prefer the Michelins, but those numbers are horsehit.

I believe their numbers are relative to their categories. So a 9.0 in an all season is not the same as a 9.0 on a summer max performance and those are not the same as R compound tires.
