If it just says black, then it is the flat finish.

If it says Onyx, then it is the black mirror finish.

EmblemPros will send you a neat little cardboard template with the letters cut out and the correct spacing. As long as you can get that on the car straight, all you have to do is put the right letters in the right hole.
