I don't see it listed on the compatibility chart, any reason this wouldn't work on a 2020?

Is there a DSP comptability chart for the Zen AVB?

Any automobile focused DSP should work. Zen AVB does Optical and RCA out.

I'll be installing the Nav-tv unit here in the next couple of weeks, along with a JL 12w6 in a stealthbox and some Focals front and rear. Ill be sure to post some pics!

I've actually started to suspect my navtv. I have had my battery drain badly a couple of times even on a .75A charger. Today I fired up the car and everything worked fine. I drove across town and parked for a few hours. I started the car and my DSP and amps didn't turn on. I found that the lights were out on the NavTV. I unplugged its harness and plugged it back in and everything came back to life.

I see a new firmware just came out and I have tried to update but can't get the updater to talk to the unit. Thinking back, when I got it, I'm pretty sure I couldn't get it to upate firmware then either.

I'm going to reach out to support on Monday.

Interesting twist. Chatted with support today. Apparently they made some form of physical change right after they shipped mine. I will have to ship it back to have it re-worked.

They tried to get me to pay shipping to them. I wasn't amused considering this is a $600 unit that was defective from shipping. He said he would try to get a call tag tomorrow.

Not off to a great start with this unit :/

I got my call tag, UPS has it. It's kinda odd driving without blinker noises. I put the top down today and was holding the button waiting for the beep indicating motion complete. yeah, that never happened

They claim 1 day turn around. Should have it next week and I'll report back.

The 1-2 day turnaround has turned into a week. They haven't been responsive to requests for ticket updates. sigh.

Cool info. My bose system sounds way too quiet in the back and had it checked out by a chevy dealer. They said it was normal. I've adjusted the fade as much as I can and just dealing with it.
Never had a sound system sound like it before. I prefer a "surround" type of feeling instead of facing a concert.

Bump bump. Really clean install, probably need a little more juice to the w6 but sounds real damn good. Quite a bit of deadener used, especially in the doors. Blinkers were a little quiet at the outset, but they...adapted? Hard to explain, but they're fine now, so maybe I just drowned them out. Ill keep an eye on the voltimeter.

Thumbs up

PetrolHead:
  • You are right, the Bose stereo is AWFUL, I encourage everyone to take the PLUNGE and EXPUNGE that system!

StlCamaroFan:
  • Thanks for the posts and pics.
  • That JL Stealthbox seems to be an AWESOME solution.
  • I am loving my JL 10" in a JL sealed box - I have a vert, so I can remove it if I need too, and it is so slim it stays underneath the top when it's down. These slimline subs put out a lot of bass.
  • Your amps and wiring look PRISTINE and pro.
  • I just borrowed an old MS Vista OS laptop from my sister and I am going to try to run the Hertz software to tune my Hertz DSP.3 system a bit on my 2017 - it needs a little mid-bass boost. Wish me luck. Why doesn't Hertz have an iPad version? I would buy the Bluetooth interface if they did.
  • Below is a link to my install post.
