This DRL harness will allow you to utilize your factory day time running lights as fog lights. With this harness you will now be able to operate the factory halo and the fog lights at the same time when you turn the headlight switch to the "Parking" light position. Under normal operation with this harness and the factory light sensor the day time running lights, or fog lights, will always be ON. This harness will require your Camaro to have the "RS" package installed.

How do you know if you have the "RS" package installed on your Camaro?
The easiest way to tell is if your headlights have the factory "halo" installed from the factory, this will signify that you have the "RS" package. Most 2010-2013 V6 models are also signified by the Red "RS" emblem in the front grill or the rear trunk lid. Most 2010-2013 SS models are also signified by the Red "SS" emblem in the front grill or the rear trunk lid. All 2012-2015 ZL1 models have the "RS" package.

I was thinking of getting the new Hero headlights for a 2014-2015 SS. Would this be needed in the swap? Or can this be added to the swap so the Fogs work with the new Hero Headlight daytime light? I do not have the RS package.

This harness would not for on the 2014-2015 SS. So it would not be needed for the headlight swap. Plus the headlights we are working on will not need an extra harness for the swap, they will be direct plug and play.
