(VR) East Coast Kit + E70 = 829rwhp (A8)

Short list of mods:

  • East Coast Superchargers 6th Gen Kit with Novi 1500 maxed out
  • Vengeance Stage 2 Camshaft
  • ARH Long Tubes (no cats) - stock NPP mufflers
  • LT4 Injectors and High Pressure Pump
  • DSX Low side external pump (stock SS in-tank pump)
  • Alky Control Dual Nozzle system
  • Built trans with Circle D Pro Billet converter (258mm)
  • Red trace is 93 Octane (E10)
  • Blue trace is pump E70

Both pulls made in 6th gear (1:1) at 12psi of boost

Was this with the 'standard' drive (6rib to cog) configuration or is it the 10 rib system?

Got some pictures to post?

Just fine with the added DSX kit and the dual nozzle meth We didn't want to dump the good E85 in, so we used pump E70

Wow, really nice results there Reckless. What pulleys did you end up using? I have this kit too, and am curious how much you were able to spin it with the jackshaft setup going off of the serpentine belt.

Awesome results Reckless !!!!

Here is a good example for anyone that was questioning if the serpentine 6 rib -> Jackshaft -> Cogdrive system was robust enough to push this kit into the 800+ rwhp range ... guess we got our confirmation its no slouch and through an A8 also.

The 10 rib drive setup looks like you will only need that if this kit has one of the Larger Paxton Novi units mounted (ie Novi 2200R or etc) and pushed really hard!

I am happy to see these higher end results and also to see the potential that this kit has in its current form ... now I know what to shoot for in the near future with mine when I have it setup how I want.

If you do have a current under hood pic I would appreciate that also (I'm wondering about your catch can and air filter setup).
