I've owned the waffle weaves and super high gsm towels and find that I like the ones I linked above the best.

I use a Metro Vac Master Blaster. It gets the water out of every crevice. Mirrors, grill, wheels, brakes, tail lights, etc. It makes fast work of drying with no drip marks later.

Easy to hold and the tip is soft so no marring of the surface if you bump.
