ZL1 MPG

Absolutely an insignificant post, but I'm a bit confused...

I've yet to hit 700 miles on my 2017 A10, so need to actually track fill-ups, but on long flat runs, under 70 mph, my car reports 27 mpg. Mixed driving 21 mpg. Is this even possible? Is this in line with your ZL1? If so, why the California gas guzzler tax?

If i just drive around town in manual shift mode(driving pretty aggressively)i get around 10. In full auto maybe 12. Freeway driving nets me 23.

That was what I was expecting. I've been breaking the car in.. so going easy, but still.. I'm getting about the same mileage as my wife's MDX, except that I'm using premium.

I also was surprised how good mpg I'am getting I just turned 1000 miles and with mixed driving 21.7 ave mpg so far. But I have not gotten on it at all. Driving like a little old lady going to church. Can not wait to hit 1500 miles.

I'm at 1400 miles and 17.5 MPG average with the A10. I drive pretty hard and run 93. Not much highway but a lot of hilly 40 to 60 MPH stuff and some city.

19.9mpg but I drive mostly on the highway and at extralegal speeds. My gas mileage improved dramatically over the first 1500 miles.

On a 1400 mile drive, real world hand calculated mileage was about 26 highway. Around town it’s about 9 when I drive bollucks to the wall or about 13.5 if I granny drive around town.

If you're getting more than about 16 in mixed driving, you aren't doing it right.

I have money, gas is cheap....let's see if I give a $hit....uh, no.

But mine gets 25 mpg on the highway. When it goes to 3 mpg on the instant readout, I know I am having fun.

From what people are saying idk! I average 10mpg city and trust me, my throttle is down quite a lot. Almost no highway driving for me. Sounds about the same.

I'm just under 1k miles, fairly conservative break in driving still. Occasional WOT without max rpms. Think my average is 16-17, and around 25 on highway.
