UPDATE on F & R sway bars!

I am just so blown away the improvements!
No more snap oversteer. Oversteer is so more communicative if is does happen! So easily controlled with more throttle. Understeer has be reduced also. The car is so much more controllable allow me to pitch throttle up earlier.
Couldnt be happier with results.

Hotchkis front bar BMR rear and BMR endlinks.
Thanks Ryepile for your recommendations!

BTW smashed my personal best today on Hoosiers with 10 heat cycles!

Also nice meeting some forum members today!!!!

("1LE") ...Always nice to notice a change for the positive when doing any mods, good to know! I feel i've been pushing and getting a tad of understeer before the apex's while trail-braking, may look to some further swaybar (rear-BMR) upgrades myself over winter. But since balancing the brake bias F to R it has helped some also. Although only had one event with the pad change and the car was not running 100% either to get a true "tried-and-true" feel of the bias change. -Enjoy!!

I'm looking at doing sway bars for next season. What is the rationale for using Hotchkis up front and BMR in the rear?

Do you have the part numbers?

You're on stock FE4 bars right now?

If so, and you're running somewhere between 100TW tires and Hoosier R7's, you want the Hotchkis front bar and the BMR adjustable rear bar. Start with both on the middle setting. This will maintain the neutral balance, but provide 30% added roll stiffness from FE4 bars to match the added tire grip.

I don't recommend the BMR hammertone powder coat, as it will end up rusting after the first contact with water.

A shame about the hammertone for anybody who might want the 'go' without the 'show'.

I got this from BMR via e-mail. Stiffness wise the BMR and Hotchkis are close in the middle setting on the front.

I referenced the sway bar rate to the factory ZL1 bar.

Good info. SS 1LE bar is how much stiffer the base SS? I imagine its stiffer the ZL1.

Same bars for FE4 SS 1LE & ZL1 (not FEA code from ZL1 1LE). Rear spring rates same for all FE4. Front spring rate slightly different on ZL1 due to extra weight on nose from blower, heat exchanger, etc.
