No remote detected????
Had this happen just now!!! My key has been working fine!!! Just went to get in my car and it unlocked the door but when I hit the start button it said no remote detected!!!! It said to put it in the cup holder so I did !!! After a few tries it started!!! Then I put the a/c on and it was only blowing hot air!!! No cooled seat either!!!!! Stopped to get gas !!! Shut off the car and after filling up no problem!!!! Anyone else have this happen ??? I'm gunna change the battery now and make sure it wasn't that!! But why would the AC and the seat not work ?????

With these fobs they will randomly and seemingly do this for no reason. I have yet to experience this with the Gen 6, but my C6 Vette did it at least once a year.

Did you ever figure out what happened here? I had it happen to me exactly the same. No remote detected, no AC, no heated or cooled seats. The next day, everything worked again . I'm worried something is going to short out on me right after my warranty goes out.

When I get the no remote detected message a new fob battery has always been the cure.

This fixed it for me. Had the same problem earlier this year, car would fail to detect the remote after I drove sonewhere. TSB 16-NA-396, attachment in thread below.
