Torque converter issue

So I have a 2019 LT v6 camaro and I’ve noticed that at about 2000 rpm if I hit my gas sometimes the whole car shakes and when I pull off sometimes the car takes a minute to move… this only started a couple months ago and I’ve done some looking around and I think it’s the torque converter but I want to see if I’m the only one or if it might be another issue. Ps it has 50,000 miles

Have you had the latest fluid and flush procedure done?

Very likely the torque converter is trashed now. Mine had to be replaced along with the latest fluid and flush

Well, you waited too long. Don't tell them that.
Agree with HCI above. I would take it in before it strands you.

Had the same issue. In the shop a few days later. Flush fixed the problem.

My 16 A8 SS started to have the shudders in May 2018. it got a new torque converter and fluid under warranty in July 2018. I traded it for a M6 SS in August 2018.

Appalling to me that GM continued selling this transmission without having resolved the design issue.

Mine had the shudder, I had the latest TSB trans fluid procedure done and it went away for a year but came back. I ended up having AFM turned off in a tune and no issues since.

I had to revert to stock tune for a week and immediately the shudder was present everytime it went into V4 mode. That was a sucky week.

Make sure you ask for a transmission flush and not just a trans fluid change, this procedure is specific in that the old fluid needs to be sucked out entirely with special equipment that GM provides service departments with.

You may also want to refer to TSB number 18-NA-355 (https://static.nhtsa.gov/odi/tsbs/20...74266-9999.pdf), the document that describes the procedure in detail. This is your grounds for requesting warranty service on your transmission.
