I even asked if the 2SS was on constraint and she said no.. They have a few 1SS,2SS in stock and i believe they mentioned another 8 are coming in from now until April.

What type of allocation are you waiting on?? A 1LE or just a 1SS or 2SS?

Constraints only apply to new orders, not existing orders. So since you already have an order placed, you're good to go. The constraint list comes out on Thursdays (yesterday), which is why your dealer wouldn't have known of any a day or two before that.


No ill will towards you, but it baffles me how you can get an order in in the past few months, but I've been waiting over a year with nothing and now it's going to be almost another 4 months before I even have a chance. I went to the same dealer I bought my 2018 1SS 1LE from. They had plenty of allocations at that time and had lots of other Camaros. So, I didn't see any reason to go elsewhere when I wanted to step up to a 2SS 1LE with the A10. They've been very honest with me the whole time, and they want to sell me a car. I just don't understand why they're being shortchanged on allocations. At the very least, they've said I'm first in line as soon as they get one. I've talked to a couple of other dealers though, and it's just as much of a crap shoot.

Hopefully your car gets shipped sooner than later, my ZL1 was shipped in January and arrived at the dealer the beginning of February. All four tires were cracked -> https://www.camaro6.com/forums/showthread.php?t=578172

Thats harsh and really sucks, im sorry to hear you gotta deal with that. No ill will taken at all. Its the luck of the draw i guess.. TBH i wasnt expecting anything untill around April to June with everything i was reading.. Mind you i still need to wait for shipping! That could be months.

Oh thats crazy ill be giving it a huge look over once it arrives.. I cant believe they put that old of tires on the car.

It's not the tire age, but the super soft compound in the GY Eagle F1 SC3 tires that's at risk of cracking in extreme cold if the rubber is made to flex. That's why they don't recommend even moving the car at temps less than -7C IIRC.

Forgot to add, hence why the car is now on constraint. Fingers crossed you get your car delivered during a warm spell! My 2018 was delivered late November, but I got lucky and we had several days in the teens when it arrived.

Oh i gotcha now.. Thats nuts ehh They need to ship them on normal tires and have the dealerships swap em out so they arnt sitting at the yard on soft tires.

That crossed my mind too. But I suspect the logistical headaches of moving all the extra sets of tires and wheels around isn't worth it for them.

Is that blue 2SS 1LE A10 that's showing up in the Falls Chev inventory yours?

On a side note, it's crazy how many convertibles are available in Ontario! It's a 60/40 split convertibles to coupes. Who's buying convertibles in November!? I guess convertibles had the most parts available to build for whatever reason.

I have seen COnverts everywhere.. With the Falls say they will be getting 8 more Camaros in by April i wonder how many will be converts.. Its crazy
