Adam's Silver SS

Back in early December, after almost a year of pondering what car to get, I finally pulled the trigger on a 2017 1SS M6 Camaro. For me it was a tough choice between it and the Mustang having been a Ford guy my whole life. After driving the Camaro, though, the choice was crystal clear.

Here it is the night I signed the papers:

The modding begins

I didn't bring it home that night, as part of the deal was an upgrade to the black wheels. I also had them swap the bow tie emblems to black.

Taking Delivery

I took delivery with less than 10 miles on the car two nights later (had to order the wheels). Dad put the first 10 miles on it (Director at the dealer).

The next day I had to take it around and show it off to family

Time to get lower

Next step was to get rid of some wheel gap. I installed the Eibach springs and dropped a bit over an inch.

BEFORE

AFTER

Alignment was way off after the install so that was the next step. Back to the dealer it went.

Details Details

While in the shop for the alignment, I told Dad to keep it a few days and have some things done.

1. Hood stripe from Big Worm Graphix. It is killer looking.

2. Street Scene Front Splitter. I was under the impression this would arrive satin black. It actually arrived with tons of white sanding marks in it, so an unexpected paint job there.

3. Rear spoiler satin black paint.

This morning, before the Snowpocalypse begins, I put my new plates on and tucked her away to wait out the snow. This isn't a daily driver.
