I was really hoping to get a ZL1 when I graduated and could afford it. At least I was able to get my hands on a 2023. I might never sell it then.

The article says they will stop building the sixth generation in January 2024. So only the collector’s edition will be released??

If the economy doesn't turn to complete sh!t which looks like it is...then 2024 will be a pretty decent sales year for Camaro.

MY point wasn't about the marketing practices of a corporation, but rather the strange irony of and EV being promoted in the same year as the Camaro coming back out only to be terminated in 2023 by EVs taking over. I remember that day and having conversations on Camaro5 making fun of EVs while waiting for our 5th gens to be built. Now who is getting the last laugh? The EVs while the Camaro is sent down the road counting insulators.

Bummer. Face it. Gen X and Gen Z don't want these types of cars anyhow. Most are more concerned about what phone they have over what car they drive.

All though I don't doubt your figures posted, that has nothing to do with my post. I said that "I don't believe putting the mustang nameplate on their CUV helped sell it" There is zero evidence to prove weather or not it did or didn't. Nobody will be able to tell me they sold X units with the nameplate on it and if they hadn't they would of only sold X units. That was my point. What if they would have named it Arabian? Sell more or less units?

I have owned both. You are out of your mind. The Gen6 car is far superior to the Gen5 car in almost every way. Now could have they done more with the Gen6 car? Well, just look at the new GT500. Pretty sure you have your answer there. The GT500 also cost a lot more too.
Maybe that is what you were driving at, but the Gen6 is the best Camaro ever. It just falls short, when compared to the competition, in some areas.

Go buy a ZL1. They are out there. I also haven't seen the price of them going up as much as the Challengers since they announced their demise.

Don't be too sure. There are companies working on making EVs sound like all kinds of different vehicles.

Dodge is one of them with the Ev Charger.
