Heh, this is a sneaky way of trying to start another one of those neverending break-in threads
...but hey, I'll bite in good humor: your engine is already broken in (or not, there is nothing you can do about it anymore), just send it

Doing better than me! I have 313 miles from September 6th, 2022 to October 30th, 2022. Have ZERO miles from November 1st, 2022 to current day as we speak...thanks to me living in the armpit that is the midwest and its crappy winters/winter temps.

It was tough I agree. Luckily I bought it in CA and had to take it to Idaho to register it so that racked the miles up pretty quickly. I definitely had a few high rpm, over 80, and a handful of wots

Just drive it like you "bought" it! The car isn't made out of popsicle sticks. It's a well designed machine, built for people who love to drive. I too was conservative for the 500 miles. The car is just so much fun, it is hard not to enjoy it, but do so safely.

Now my Trans / Diff friend stated following the engine breakin Dale said to follow will get the trans and Diff thru a proper period. Every engine builder may agree , or very from this . I took it one step father and limited the RPMs to 5,500 and varied speed under 80 to 1250 miles. . I went with both there suggestions to me . I am at 1700 miles now and ready for another oil change and most likely a Diff service ,the Diff service is on me , as Pete said a little over kill , but do it if it makes you more comfortable. I trust them and there knowledge. This didn't very much from the 1500 miles stated in the OM. It was tough to follow, but I knew it was the thing to do. Your almost there ,and you'll feel good about it , as I do. Have fun be safe , and above all Happy Motoring.

OP was referring to the brake in period , 860 + 640 = 1500 just to clarify . Every individual has a veriaction of normal, during the BI period normal driving is not intended to be a part of that . Normal driving would occur after BI.I believe Fran is referring to getting the BI period achieved, to be able to drive his Beautiful Car in his normal fashion .

hit 325 miles today. no hurry, just happy to drive it on nice days. I plan to drag race it in November at the Stock / Super Stock race like I did the last Camaro. Should be loose by then. I pulled up behind a Plaid Tesla, glad I didnt line up with him. this is my 21 Camaro at Mason Dixon dragway. I had a fun time that day and went 12.40. then went a few rounds until I lined up with Tex Miller. several time F/Stock world champ. I did well, he did better. LOL. In the end, a COPO took him out.
