I have a 2017 Camaro SS. Does this mean I can't connect wirelessly?

How do you get the updates??

from my understanding, wireless carplay/androidauto comes with 2019 chevys and newer only. you can get a wireless module that plugs into your usb that will give you similar affect.

Indeed, wireless Android Auto/Apple CarPlay is a 2021+ feature, not even do 2019s and 2020s have it.

I use AAWireless and it works amazingly well on my 2018 (even though I have a very early production unit as this was originally an indiegogo project), but there are several other solutions, too.

AAWireless is the way to go. This tiny module is easy to hide and works amazingly well!

Nope, Both don't solve the problem.

For what it is worth, I've rented 2 Malibu's recently that worked flawlessly in wireless mode.
I have had the same thing and i have the same phone. Im also having a hard time getting my Nav from my phone to show up on the car.. I havent had to much time to play with the car yet so maybe the nav is just something i havent figured out yet.

But i have had mine disconnect a couple times.. Its almost like its trying to play spotify from the car and the phone at the same time. Its weird.

It seems that a lot of Samsung (it doesn't matter if it is a S22 or S23) and Pixel users face Android Auto problems (especially with wireless Android Auto). You can google it. Here are some examples:

I have an S22 Ultra and I have no issues with wireless AA. It's fast and reliable.

I had issues connecting my S22 with AA Wireless until a software update from Samsung released in August fixed it.

Wifey's S10 broke and we replaced it with... another S10 I'll keep buying this as long as I can, it's the perfect phone. I have an S10e because even its smaller screen is fine with me. Smooth, quick, responsive, zero issues with AA or anything else.

I don't need more speed, more capacity, more resolution, more cameras or more of anything, if it breaks somehow, I'll just keep buying this as long as possible, then reevaluate the landscape...

I could not agree more with you! I still have my S10 and it's the best phone I ever had.

An update to my post. For whatever reason this problem has gone away for me. I assume either an update from Android Auto or Samsung maybe fixed the problem but it hasn't happened it quite some time. Rock solid for me.
