I used Sonax on the Alcantara parts before I put my Camaro away. Works pretty well.

It's about the only Alcantara cleaner you can buy very easily.

I am just surprised you can get a body in the trunk given the small trunk opening, LOL.

Sent from toaster or something

It was probably never cleaned in 3 years and 46,000 miles. I think I made it worse with cleaning it and trying to brush it. Steering wheel looks much better.

I had one ball up like that - replaced under warranty.

Just clean w soapy water moistened towel when I clean the car. Replacement seems to be wearing better than original.

Sonax works great, Woolite also works great at a far lower cost......been using that for some time and great results.

I see quite a variety of brushes advertised for cleaning alcantara/microsuede/etc. I was planning on just using a soft-bristle toothbrush. Would that be too soft (some brushes look to have metal hairs)?

I've never had to clean anything that was very dirty, for light soil, yes, a toothbrush works. I had a brush around that was for some other purpose (not usre origins...lol) but it is like a medium bristle toothbrush and considerably larger, like 3x. Works great.

Any soft-medium bristle brush should work, some soft cloths and all set.

For anything really dirty, no idea... same process should work, might take extra attempts I would imagine.
