I run 18x8 wheels with some Nokean R2's myself. Nothing really to tell. Car plows through the snow with no issues.

What about the offset? I know the stock staggered wheels have a different offset front and rear.
If Im looking on Tire Rack for a square set up in 18x8 or 8.5 I find all different offsets. Research shows offsets from 28 to 40.
Im looking at a 18x8 wheel with a 32mm offset for all 4 corners with 245/50/18 snows.
I also put this question out on its own post in case you guys arent looking.
The wheels Im looking at also require a centering ring.
Whats that all about.
Only had our car 2 weeks. I didnt plan on dealing with winter tires until next year since we still have a lease until April but Im reading about problems from cold weather damaging the goodyears so here I am.

The wheels and tires should deliver today or tomorrow.
Flow one 18x8 wheels with Vredestien snows.
Ive driven the stock Goodyears down into the 30's with no issue. Breaking the car in still with less than 400 miles so of course I never tried to spin them.
Sunday night at the folks until after 9 PM. The 40s of the day had fallen to mid 30s.
About 3 miles from the house to the interstate. The tires remained in the green but were down 2 lbs on each corner until a good 10 miles of interstate. They did feel more lumpy when cold but smoothed out with miles.
The wife is really never going to drive it in any kind of real snow. And she is so smooth and gentle with the stick and throttle Im confident in the cars ability to daily drive all winter.
Just hate like hell to get her salty.
