No I did not use stock TB. Plan on using 95 full time once tune. But I see your point would have been helpful to others but just never thought about it before.
But someone else might chime in that has that setup.

I’m running the rotofab intake, 95mm throttle body, and the lt2 intake mani with no tune and she’s purring like a charm. Just unhooked the battery before install and when complete, she started right up with no problems or CELs. Car runs incredibly smooth and low to mid range is noticeably better. But I also am not running the car hard due to no tune. Just waiting for speed engineering to send headers and x-pipe combo so I can finally get tuned for e85 then I’ll be blowing the tires off

So I’m getting ready to do the LT2/ported 95 TB and from what I have read it’s best to get a tune, which I plan to do but I’m curious if it would be best to tow the car to the shop for the tune instead of drive. I obviously wouldn’t beat on it on the way to the shop. It’s about a 30 mile drive. Thoughts anyone?

Who has stock on LT2 IM these days? I checked GPI and they are on backorder. Assuming most will be, but if anyone has ideas please let me know. Cheers.

I agree needs a tune, they probably don’t have an AFR gauge. I saw my numbers out of whack on my gauge and decided not to push it. Waiting for my build parts and then a tune.
The only saving grace would be perhaps a bone stock car and only the LT2 manifold added. But I would still like to see the AFR numbers on it just to be safe.

Thanks, I figured I would be ok but since there has been people that have done this before I thought I would ask.

Im running my 2021 with LT2, and rotofab. have had it on since about 500 miles on the car and sitting at 4500 now, no issues at all. Going longtubes next week so will be having to tune it then.

Anyone else have it in stock that will do the porting/modification work? I have a dremel but I'm no expert in using it. GPI has theirs on backorder still.

My 2021 LT1 is stock, have the LT2 intake on, no issues. I did the clean up work to the intake myself, easy to do with a dremel. Just remove sharp edges as far as your fingers can feel and what you can see with a light in each port. The throttle body opening I just smoothed where the opening begins inside the intake, you can feel the sharp edges around the round opening.

fwiw i put a stock lt2 manifold on my bolt on car after it had already been tuned with a ported lt1 manifold, headers, stock tb and stock (modified) air box.
i added stock lt2 manifold rotofab dry ran the car hard for about 3k miles. no afr but the logs showed no knock and the car easily picked up 1.5-2 mph. lt2 is legit.
