Boost?

So I installed some aeroforce guages yesterday and the boost is reading at -22.7 at idle. Is this correct? I read that stock boost is in the 9's. My car is completely stock except for rotofab and catback exhaust. TIA.

Sounds about right.
Where did you find this gauge with the ZL1 logo on it?

yes, that reading is normal. Look at your stock gauge and notice the needle is in vacuum (negative) at idle

Sounds normal (in vacuum). Where did you tap into 12v keyed on power?

The Banks iDash is worth considering as well. I switched from a P3 to the iDash and really like it.

No worries on your boost reading. Mine runs in the negative part of the gauge most of the time until I’m driving fast or stomping on the accelerator.

Yea, you should read negative boost or vacuum as you drive around town. If you can read the boost gauge, which I dislike, it should get to 9# at WOT.

The aero force gauges plugs directly into the obd. Zip tied excess wires, and tucked the rest leading down to the obd.

Yep only think I dislike about these guages is that they are hard to read. Polarized sunglasses don't help either. I shoulda bought the p3 but these were from my 5th gen zl1. One of the guage led went out and finally got it fixed so now reusing them on my zle. Maybe in the future ill upgrade them to the p3

Yeah I think I did notice that a couple of times when I punched it! The throttle response is so much better though since I installed the Roto-Fab.
