I debadged it when I got home. Love the cleaner look. Also, Becky gave me the set of original front brakes I replaced with the upgraded set. Awesome!

Congrats Picks!

In addition to the quality checks all new model year builds undergo, a portion (say one in five) are randomly selected for closer inspections. This may add a few days to the wait for that selected build, unless a problem is uncovered. A discovered problem may then affect the wait for both preceding and ensuing builds as well as the randomly selected one. This is normal and also why vehicle manufacturers normally hold the first two or three weeks of production, which did not happen for this new model year.

Thank you to everyone who replied to my conundrum about if I should abandon my order or not.

Becky replied in another thread, and she confirmed that the Private Offer cannot be used along with the 0% APR for 72 months thing. So that means no matter which way I go, this Private Offer is of no use to me. It's a bummer, but dems da facts.

So I have the Employee Pricing, which I can use with either model year. If the only other thing I can use on the 2016 is the 0% APR, it's not enough to make me get over the fear of early issues with the 2016's. And as mentioned, the depreciated value of the previous model year would also be a bummer.

After thinking it over more, I'm gonna hold out an wait for my order to come in. Additional bummer is that my dealer confirmed there is no rail # yet, so...my car is still cooking somewhere on a lot.

That. Is. Awesome.

I wish I had something like that six months ago. Then I wouldn't have fumbled around before ordering with Becky.

Im sorry dude; I feel your pain! This wait has been excruciating... I'm sure you'll be very happy that you held out for the 2017 Camaro you ordered.

I'm fortunate to be picking my car up tomorrow. No intention of gloating here: but Becky sent me these pictures and I just wanted to share them. God bless her.

All of us will be delivered in short order! This is just a preview of things to come; for all of us!
