One thing I noticed however is that towards the end of the quarter it feels like the power is gone. I don't know what that could be. I just don't go to the drag strip anymore. Instead i drive it on the windy back roads. I went to maple grove raceway in Pa and I don't know what the elevation is out here. The temp was in the 50's. I remember a cts-v was running 12.0 and 11.9 that day. I'll probably try one more time in the fall after I get new tire. |

You should data log a run if you have access or know someone. You should be running stronger than that either way with your mods

If you can afford another set of rims, I think the 17" drag radial is the place to go. I also own the Hoosier 17" drag radials that are only 26" tall. I have not made a pass on them yet but I think with my non-stock gear ratios, I might be able to get out of the hole faster with a shorter tire. I need my car so I can do some testing!!!

I would highly recommend Mickey Thompson drag radial or M@H over Nittos |

Running any modified car without the ability to data log the run is playing Russian roulette. The car is seriously down on power. (My M6 car trapped 122 with 560rwhp) If you find a way to data log your car, the issue will be apparent.

All that means is it is way easier to launch with way less HP

I have got a 1.81 on stock tires. I was pointing out that it is actually a little easier to launch a manual over all with less horsepower, so the v6 comment is moot .

I have gotten a 1.78 with stock tires 100% stock in PTM 5. I was really surprised how well they did.
