By installing shorter springs and adding 1LE struts, why didn't you go with coilovers? You can raise/lower the car and adjust the ride infinitely.

Pretty simple really -- didn't want them after discussing with Tyler from JDP what I wanted the car to do -- this is what we came up with. May not be for everyone (my setup) -- that's probably a good reason to talk it over with someone like Tyler first to make sure what you want -- which is what I did. For all the mods I wanted to do and the price range for all of them, this worked perfectly for me.
