Is the Satin Steel Metallic really a satin finish? Wondering if it's a matte finish.

Riverside Metallic Blue = Michigan State Police Blue [Metallic]

Why GM went away from Hyper Metallic, which is a stunning color, is beyond me. I'll withhold final judgement until I see it in person, but, so far, RMB looks boring.

GM never seems to stick to one shade of Blue. Every few years they are changing it up, Corvette has seen an abundance of different shades over the last 18 years

Nassau Blue, Navy Blue, Electron Blue, LeMans Blue, Jetstream Blue, Night Race Blue, Laguna Blue (close to Hyper), Admiral Blue

Do any of them have a tint of anything else in person? I have a Modern Steel Metallic Accord and they have a barely visible purplish tint in bright sunlight. But it may just be my eyes.

Riverside is too dark IMO, it will lose the pop HB had.

Assuming the GJI shadow gray is the same for the vette. A little green/blue hurts to it. Man, that would be nice on a 1LE. You can see the difference next to nightfall.

I would have gone for the OC if they had that for 2018. That lic of the blue one above just makes that front look horrible. Does not look elegant at all. Looks like it chomped on some rocks. That angle and that blue just looks weird on it.

Personally, I'm pretty surprised that they took away Yellow - especially seeing as how the refresh looks so much more like Bumblebee from Transformers

Crush is not metallic. The COPO display car was painted that way not this color.

Is the Hyper blue closer to the old 78 trans am blue or the new blue? Sure loved the old 77 to 78 formulas and trans ams.

I like the blue, but won't judge by the pictures. I must see it in person. Unless the picture was corrected for color, exposure and white balance, it would look slightly off. Even hyper blue looks off in most pictures.

I actually like that blue, more than HBM, but the car doesn't look appealing from that angle.

A Crush ZL1 Coupe to go with the Hottie Vert would be most righteous. In fact, my wife said I can get a ZL1 when I pay off my truck. I don't really believe her....so we'll see. Dreaming for now....but hoping it can be the current front end and the new tail lights. However.....I'm thinking they only leave that combination two years max....if that.

Thoughts?
