What do we know about VMS Drag Racing Wheels?

The price is good, which usually means the wheels are not. Does anyone have these and can you comment on the quality and your experience with them?

I reached out to them months ago when they first came out with a set for our camaros to be a test car. Was unable to make the trip to Miami at the time. They seem nice, I think they look good too. I have not seen them in person but for a full set of wheels it’s a good price. They had a 15% off over the holidays as well. May not be a bad idea to hold out and see if they run any specials unless your in need now.

They look pretty good and not that cheap. I would get them for the occasional dig races

I see a ton of them on Mustangs and Camaros at Carolina dragway. Most of the cars running them are in the low 11's.

I bought a set from beefcake. Had them in 2 days. I bought MT 28x6x18 Radial for the front and 28x10.5x 17 MT pro drag radial slicks for the back. I now know several guys that have the VMS on 5th gens and 6th gens some trapping at 127 to 130mph - had them on for a while and no issues. I can confirm that the 18x5 fronts clear ZL1 front brakes. Was hoping to try them out soon - but broke something in the diff.

Those look really nice! Website says they are out of stock. Anyone know what the current price is and what the lead time would be on a set?

Do those rims use lug nuts that have a shank shaft all the way through the wheel or acorn style?

I have a set also there pretty nice for 250 each there are some people selling them out side of VMS same price think the set is 960ish I bought mine from 2 different people. The lugs are acorn style and there is a slight issue with that, a 14 mm lug with a socket on it don’t fit in the hole to tighten up the lug so either have to run a long (2” I believe) or a smaller 14mm lug really not a big deal. IMO for a 250.00 you can’t go wrong good luck Tommy
