American Racing Headers quad tip exhaust is here

My car has been at the ARH facility for the last 3 weeks for prototype work on a quad tip system thats has until now been absent from their offerings for our 6th gen. They are finished with the final design and it is a really nice system. All stainless steel with 4 inch polished tips wich I think look absolutley badass and fill the lower bumper slots better than the 3.5 factory ones. The sound is alot deeper no rasp to it at all. At idle is was surprisingly quiet once cold enrichment ended. To put the sound into perspective this is a 1" 7/8 longtube setup with hi flow cats mated to their "long" system wich eliminates the AFM valves. Wide open throttle sounds nothing short of amazing. No rattles or squeaks of any kind. The lone draw back is you will lose the bypass functionality. I will have some video clips soon.

Ah. I can't begin to emphasize how disappointed I am that this does not retain NPP. I guess that scratches them off my list.

Yeah but I bought the hype and paid for a Borla over 3 and 1/2 weeks ago and have nothing but less money and a stock exhaust. Would ARH ship an exhaust after I pay for it?

yes ARH is very customer oriented. Nick the owner pulled over on the side of the road to take my order after hours. Talked to me for 30min about my 6.2L SC silverado.
your saying Borla never sent your exhaust? get your money back.

Not Borla, their sh!thole dealer. Freaking awesome. Never had issues for years with Audi vendors. I guess Chevy vendors live differently than I do.

Nick is the owner of ARH and a car guy like all of us. Great guy easy to talk to and as stated very customer oriented. I am not 100% sure when these systems will be ready for sale you could give them a call they will be happy to help you out.

They didnt just cut my muffler out and put in theirs. It was 3 weeks total time im sure they didnt spend 40 hours a week on it. My car was one of the many lifts occupied there it is a BUSY place. It takes time to design a system that fits well doesnt rattle and squeak and looks nice. He had to design pipes that tucked up under the rear of the car. The stock NPP piping hangs and enters our muffler very low. You dont see it from behind because the giant muffler hides it. When you put a muffler on each side it opens the center up and the low hanging pipes are right in your face and look like crap. He designed piping that is out of sight and fits well. This is also not a one off system jigging for each finalized piece needed to be made so he can reproduce this on a large scale production. The operation there overall is impressive large scale machines and TONS of headers and exhuast systems being produced. I got a full tour of the facility. Nick prides his exhuast systems on their quality and the fact it is all American made this really does matter to him.

Yes! I'm actually stoked that it's not NPP! Can't wait.
