Seems like a tune company, maybe SCT took a big hit and was fined for providing emission altering tunes. Not sure how HPTuners escaped it.

I'm all for law and order. Why not focus on laws that actually keep people alive vs keeping environmental warriors happy?

Amen too that. Law and order is absolutely necessary but not when laws are used as weapons/punishment against the public to appease special interest, lobbyists, and the enrichment of politicians who are elected to serve the people they screw. All at the cost of freedom none the less. Buckle up guys things are only going to get worse for a while.

They dont offer tunes with their devices. Its up to the end user to make changes.

Thats how i see it at least. Some SCT devices had canned tunes already on them

How is emissions equipment a weapon or punishment against the public? Isn’t it in the greater interest of the public to have a cleaner environment?

In this example it sounds like we, the automotive enthusiasts, are the special interest group who wants to be appeased.

Making this political is silly, it’s one company and they are making a decision for their own best interests.

Who here is actually opposed to less emissions in our environment? Letter says over the last several years, sounds like it’s not a consequence of the new administration.

Well, you know where all this is going to ultimately lead to. Banning ICE completely or making it very expensive to own one. EV's will be the only thing available.

The sheeple won't care because the 0-60's will be in the 2's on a full charge. Get ready for higher electric bills and if the power grid ever fails like it did in Texas, you won't even be driving.

I’ve got an 01 cummins with a 4” straight pipe, high flow muffler, no cat (that year didn’t come with one) cold air intake and some 50 horse injectors. Dang thing burns clean and passes emissions every year at the state’s emissions test center. Doesn’t roll coal and still sounds/performs amazing. Idk why gubment nazi’s have to choke out this industry with their ignorance.
