Suspension settling?

Hey everyone kind of a weird question. I swapped out my stock rims and tires on my zl1 this past weekend and noticed that i can no longer place the jack under to jack up the front tires on my zl1 addon pads without having to go from the middle of the door frame and dragging the jack towards the front because the front sits too low now. I am almost positive i was able to go straight in from the front and jack it up before. Has my suspension "settled" and now i'll need a lower jack for the front or is there something actually wrong with the front suspension? thanks for any help!

i jack up my car using the rear lift point and because my suspension is so stiff i can lift the whole side up with one jack point...i do use the zl1 addons hockey puck and jack but i have to put my rear wheels on wood first

Did you put on the exact same size rims and tires?

Haha yes, good catch, they were from an identical stock ZL1

Just checking. Though not every tire is the same size, even though it's stamped on the side, it could sit a little lower or higher.

I have noticed that my jack isn't all the way down and caused it not to be able to get under the front lift point.

I would think the suspension wouldn't settle much, if not any. Though this is a question that I haven't seen asked on here before.

If I were near my car, I'd take a measurement for you.

I swap tires and wheels all of the time for Autocross. Immediately after jacking, it will take some kind of movement to get the car to settle into its normal lower suspension position. I got a specific Jack for low cars. Now no problem. The suspension settles in the fist few feet of travel.
