Questions for my Z owners. What's your range on a full tank of gas? Mine shows 171 miles on a full tank of gas. Z got a 19 gal tank so math wise, I get about 9 miles per gallon. What does yours say. The spec sheets says 13 mpg city / 19 mpg hwy (hogwash).

I got 21.4mpg on a 151 mile trip highway running 75mph still had a tick above half a tank and 170 miles to empty.

Something doesn't sound right. You sure we're comparing apples to apples.

On the center dash menu look at the range...what does it say on a full tank of gas.

Mine says 171 miles on a full tank. Meaning I have 171 miles to go before my tank is empty.

Ive gotten 190 miles on a tank before just normal driving.
But ive also dropped my speed all the way down to 30mph in 6th and it showed some stupid number like 30+ mpg lol. On average im getting between 9 & 11 mpg

When mine was stock, I got 11.2mpg on average. I never let the tank get to E tbh, but I'd only get about 160-170 miles before it was damn close to it. I'd guess 180 miles. After upgrading, I was getting about 9.2mpg, and ended up closer to probably 160 miles.
She drinks a lot.

Ok cool, so I'm in the normal range of 9 mpg. I thought I had a gas leak somewhere when I did the numbers or my kid was siphoning gas while I was a sleep. LOL.

Yes after that run in August I filled up and it said range 320 miles to empty.
Only mods are lg headers high flow cats and a tune.
Dynoed at 506 rwh.
6th gear and steady cruising at 75 must be the ticket.

This really puzzles me now. Range on a full tank of gas is all over the chart.
171, 190, 270, 280, and 320. Wonder if low range, mile per tank on mine has anything to do with my tuning. Either that I got a crazy Z and she drinks a lot.

You must have an issue somewhere. I just checked mine with 11,000 miles on it. Half a tank of gas and it says 150 miles to go. My ave mileage is 17 and get 21-22 on trips. Just driving around suburbs with some spirited country driving otw home I get around 13-14mpg.

I average 13 city/hwy with mine with my hp package. When we drove down to Houston for that meet, I got 19. Before, I was getting around 23-24 on an 800 mile round trip. Are you driving it normally in tour mode? I found I was getting far less in any other mode... I used to drive in PTM 5 all the time, but I was getting almost 6mpg and stopped.

Miles per tank is subjective to driving style, environment, etc etc... All that matters is mpg. Fill it up. Drive it. Keep track of miles on that tank. Fill it up again and do the math. Dash is close but not actual/accurate.

I go 36 laps on a full tank, or 3.2 mi times 36 that works out to 115.2 mi, it all in the way you drive, if you pushing the cat hard it will show less distance, then if you drive like an old man.
