Borla ATAK

After deleting my cats with the NEP cat delete pipes and with the rest of the stock exhaust, I was not happy at all with the sound. Way to raspy for me, it was just crazy loud. So last night I installed a full Borla exhaust with stock headers. I used the 60606 mid and x-pipe, swapped in the 60608 resonator, and used the 11925 ATAK axle back kit. The sound is amazing, I am so very happy now. The install was super easy, took 1.5 hrs start to finish with a friend helping me, even including cutting the Borla pipes to match up to the existing cat delete pipes.

Like many others on here, I love the Borla ATAK exhaust for fitment and sound!

Sounds like a nice upgrade. Is the sound of Borla too loud?

The Borla sound is fantastic, "too loud" is subjective though. What i can tell you is deleting the cats made it very loud, the Borla helped control it, and made the sound more pleasing to my ears. its screws when you stand on it, and its barely noticeable cruising on the high way. I think the key to my happiness with the system is the 60608 resonator in the mid pipe.

I had the same experience switching from the MBRP catback to Borla S-Type. Still loud when you get on it but so nice and quiet when cruising on the freeway.
