Man, what a day! So glad Don and Forrest made it out! Hope you guys had as much of a blast as I did!

I'm STILL uploading the vid of my final session, but my times improved dramatically from the first session to the last... went from having a best lap of 2:24.945 to my personal best of 2:11.263 for the day. Also score one for the Z28 family in that I chased down and had a 2018 ZL1 concede, and had plenty of Supersnakes/GT350's/M3's give up. Only time I had to let someone pass was a guy in a C6 Z06, on the very last lap right at turn 11, and that was because my tires had started getting greasy. All in all, it was an awesome day!

As an aside, Conti Extreme Contact Sports are an amazing tire.. I just let them have too much air. Started it at 28 and by the final lap they were at 38. Other than that, they handled everything I threw at them, and I felt way more in control in Race mode. So much more braking left on the table as well. On to the next track day!

Aaaand finally uploaded. Keep in mind, there is commentary between me and my instructor. I also had a really hard time getting the gauges to sync with the video for some reason. But, that's just filler stuff. :P

It was fun! You were driving way above green.. time for you to move up!

The Goodyear’s I have we’re doing fine until I have to accelerate out. Can’t wait to try the Toyos out. Got tired after the third session and called it a day...

Nice track, seriously considering membership! Now, I just need to plant that power down and not spin @ 70 mph ;o)

Thank you! I am at the mercy of the instructors on that point, but that's okay. I want to soak up everything that they have to offer, and I really need too if I want to get better every time. It's fun regardless.

Next time you go out, let me know! I really want to see what the Toyo's do for you.

I'm going to be scoping out other track events that are local to see if I can expand my horizons. Only 2 track days under belt, and I will need a lot more to continue up the chain!

You are gifted.. it was fun to watch!

Cresson is nice.. some in Houston and Austin. Oklahoma near Tulsa... Mark noted that we could rent that track ourselves!

Pretty neat...

I’ll be signing up on Thursday for next month... I need traction!

Wife and I discussed it and we're going to take a pass for April. We have a lot going on and trying to find the $ for it would be far more stressful. I am eyeballing May, though.

As for renting Hallett, depending on the cost I'm in! lol

I’ll probably do April and May, skip June-Aug (CFest in July so track day at NCM!)

May do a September or October if available...

Toyos are mounted! Need to heat cycle and see if I can get that power to ground ;o)

You were tearing it up out there Brandon! I like that segment of the video where you chase me down and pass me after turn 8 and that was my best turn! �� You are a good driver.

Thank you! It feels like home being behind the wheel doing that, I'll admit. It definitely made it a lot more enjoyable knowing that you guys and my wife were out there! Extremely glad of that, and I hope you keep going!

If you do go again, don't be like me and wait until the end of the day to go Race mode. It makes all the difference!
