I use a brush and power washer at lease 2 times a week and I have no problem with it pealing. I don't know if using almost a can a wheel helps that but it will help when it's time to take it off the more layers you have. It's recommended as well to redo them ever 3 months or so

Every 3 months? I think if you apply it properly and maintain it well it can last well over a year.

This was 13 months after I plasti dipped my wheels on my previous Gen5. Still in near perfect condition.

Looks great!

How did you prevent the lug nuts and chevy emblem from the coating? Mask tape?

Agreed...mine were going on 18 months when i sold them and still looked great. The glossifier helps to seal it, and the wheel must come off to do it the right way. See how to paint the wheels of dipyourcar.com .....a deck of cards protects the tire.....watch the video

On the car application is the lazy way to do it...

Off the car, use the cards, use glossifier as Glen mentions. Mine looked great 12 months later..

The wheels were taken off to plasti dip. The Chevy emblem was actually plasti dipped in green above the original plasti dip that was just masked off.

I made a quick video about it when I did them.

I said recommended. I had the roof of my cts v dipped for over a year.. Was a pain to remove when it came time. But I just touch mine up or redo it because I clean my car a lot and use tire shine a lot so it eats away at it a little
