Most common compliment and complaint you've heard by someone looking at your car.
Just wondering what people hear or are asked about their Z/28.
Include the most bizarre comment you have heard!

I guess I should chime in here. And I should say I live in a rural area on the east coast of Canada where there is a lot of nice old stuff but not a great amount of new nice cars.
"What all have you done to the car?" "Those tires need to be replaced!" -- that one most recently from the owner of the local Ford dealership haha "I have not seen anything like this before!" "I love the colour!"

I also get the "what have you done to your car, to be sure, it's not stock". Facial expressions tell all when I say that it is.......

-Is that a ZL1? Me-nope it's a Z28.
- Have you had it on the track yet? -How fast is it? - at a recent show I overheard (young kid) Wow, a Z28, top of the line model, look at those brakes, this car isn't even street legal. --dad says-- how do you think it got here. -same show I heard guys arguing over the options. --It doesn't even have a radio, or AC, I would have bought a ZL1, the splitter is too low, horrible ride, you could never daily drive that car. (I leaned over, yes it has a cd player, nope to the AC, ZL1 is a good car too, splitter is low, ride is great, and I've got other cars to drive.) -When are you going to replace the tires. -Holy $hit the front wheels are wide. -(and my favorite) Nice body kit. |

My biggest feedback comes from running track day events, since I don't drive the car much on the streets unless there's a track at the other end. I have been absolutely blown away by how much attention the car garners, and ALL of it is positive. First thing the track guys want to see is the engine, and they are impressed by how heavy-duty the build is. I get the same thing in the shops, where they always comment on how "industrial-strength" this car is on almost all the details. Typical shop comment is, "They really sweated the details on this car -- and they got it right!"...
