I went down the same path. I actually bought an LT4 blower, than realized it would eventually hold me back HP wise and the cost was nearly identical to the Whipple. So, I sold it and bought the Whipple. I also liked that Whipple will factory powder coat your blower in a ton of different available colors, has a 10 rib belt (so no slipping) and a 112mm inlet standard. And I’ve seen guys put down 1K HP with that blower, so the blower can grow with you as you make more mods. So I think that’s a much better option than putting together an LT4 blower setup. Just my humble opinion, of course.

It’s a guy selling a Whipple Setup for like $4500 on Facebook. Let me see if I can find it.

Spend the extra cash over the LT4 set up and go with 2650 Magnuson.

X2. The factory 1700 cnc is the best bang for the buck. If ur trying to make a lot of power I would go procharger or 2650 magnuson.

If you’re gonna buy new, then get the Maggie 2650 but Whipple is best bang for buck and you can find em used for cheap. Procharger will make more power over the RPM range but those PD blowers are torque monsters!

I really, really wanted the 2650 when I first heard of it.

Being impatient, I had Kong port my LT4. With supporting mods the car put down 850 rwhp. Now I am not so eager for the 2650. I'm rather good with 850. It would make more with the 2650 but it like Biggie said "More horsepower, more problems!"

That’s exactly how I felt! I was gonna sell my Whipple and get the 2650 but unless I’m shooting for 1000+, I’m good. I’m still need it streetable.

This is just my opinion. If I was shooting for 1000hp to the wheels. I would do the f1x procharger Kit. I install one on a 2018 zo6. Made 1109/975 to the wheels On a set of 21inch rear wheels. Car literally hooked really good on the street. Jeremy Formato will back me on that. He even did a video on it.

Those centrifugal blower makes great power BUT over the power curve, it takes a while. The PD Blowers hit full boost by 3000 RPMs. I’m a little partial to each one Bc I’ve had both.

I thought I wanted another TT car. Then I looked at the size of my forearms, and looked at the clearance on the Hellion kit...

I'd have to teach my daughter to change the plugs. I don't think I could reach them.
