Loose Console Knee Pad

Driver's side pad came off during an autocross run. It wouldn't be a problem for street use, but when my knee goes up against it during left hand turns, it cannae take the strain. Any idea on how to attach it permanently? The passenger one comes off just as easily.

The suede one has survived 5 runs now. So far so good.

This has been addressed a few times. Looks like GM does not care about this thing and jamming up your pedals. That exact thing happen to me this thing was bouncing around my feet on track. Now they are glued on...

Dragging this back up because I discovered the same joyous feeling of my knee pad bouncing around the pedals during my first autocross run yesterday. Any updates on those suede replacements? Are they still staying in place? If so, can someone provide a link, or at least a brand?
