I got 4.5 a few times. Launch just above 2500rpms and dump the clutch. (do a light feathering of the clutch if it spins too much) You want a little bit of wheelspin but do not let off the throttle. Bogging absolutely kills your 0-60 times and its better to spin. Also, be careful feathering the clutch because if you do it too much, the car will get unhappy and reduce the engine power. I shift right at or above 6k.

confirmed rpm.

many look to air flow as a first mod, cai / downpipe / exhaust to get power to the low 6ks. cai can cause grief with the famous P107 code, so use a KN drop in filter. A catted down pipe coupled with the jac-fab valve is a no brainer. Add a peddle commander and that should be a really good starter package. Should shave off a tenth or 2. Plus you will love how responsive the engine can be just for general driving.

I wonder if the 1le has a different rear gear? I just checked and 60 was at 6700-6800.

I do believe the 1LE get's the 9.5" wide rear wheels that are a forged aluminum. So that means you get the 275 tire. If I'm not mistaken, the OD of the 275 rear is slightly smaller than the 245's, so rpm may be a touch higher if the math is correct in my head.

That is exactly right. I looked up the difference this morning and it was about .3”. That may be enough for the 100 rpm difference.

Is there any GM literature that talks about no lift shifting in the ltg turbo?

I just tried it 1st to 2nd, and when i clutch out of first i think it redlines above 6000 rpm and sounds like my engines farting until i drop the clutch in 2nd it catches and squeels the tires a bit.

Is that normal? I want official gm literature talking about NLS in the ltg turbo

So the chart says for the LTG that NLS is active if u shift over 4400 rpm. And the target rpm is 3400 rpm!

I am not experiencing this! I NLS around 5500 rpm and when i clutch in it revs even higher like 6000+ rpm and sounds like my car is farting until i put it in the next gear. I have the accelerator pedal floored the entire time. The chart says rpm should drop to 3400 rpm during the shift unless i am missing something.

Can anyone else add to what the behavior of their rpm is during a NLS in the LTG?

For now i won't do it until i figure this out.

the farting noise is the nls. it sounds like a jake brake. Its supposed to save your boost instead of dumping the all the boost pressure on intake air loop. I can confirm pressure indeed dumps to zero between shifts using normal shift. and I have a log showing a non-zero bottom of intake pressure during nls. but I haven't been using it much. maybe need to take a look at it again since my recent changes. logging night is usually tuesdays, but I think we have rain coming in.
